Read Deuteronomy 34:1-9
God leads Moses up to the mountain to show what is in store for God’s people. Moses finally sees with his eyes the vision he has pursued for his whole life. God is faithful; the vision is about
to be realized. Even before this day God’s people needed to trust in God’s vision. In the same way, before we dive into the work God planned for us, we must catch a vision from God.

Do you have a sense of where God is leading your life? Do you have a vision of what your life would look like in five years if you were living in God’s will? What would our church look like?
Pray that God will use the DEVOTED journey to give you a clearer vision of who God is calling you to be.

It seems healthy to be exercising our imaginations and prayer muscles for a clearer vision of who God is calling us to be. I’m grateful that with God the best is always yet to come.

Years ago, many of us took the Lifemap course and went through the “Living your strengths” book and spiritual gifts test in our lifegroups. It even came with an online assessment (I still have this book if anyone wants to borrow it.) Many are familiar with basic scriptures about spiritual gifts, but I really enjoyed the breadth of this book detailing other gifts or roles not specifically mentioned in the Bible. God has created everybody uniquely and given us work to do, so I like to consider the acronym SHAPE in thinking about how God would want individuals to function.

    S – Spiritual Gifts
H – Heart (what are you passionate about?)
    A – Abilities
    P – Personality
    E – Experience
